A selection of Charlottesville’s finest locally owned restaurants will be on site offering 2-3 bacon-themed dishes.

Each chef will showcase bacon creations of their own, from restaurants such as Whiskey Jar, Parallel 38, Commonwealth, Feast, The Ivy Inn Restaurant & many others!

Beer

from Starr Hill Brewery

Starr Hill will be offering a variety of their local brewed beers with some specific recommendations for certain dishes.

“We’re thrilled to be a part of Cured and to bring back our award-winning rauchbier, Smoke Out, which pairs with just about every dish offered by these great local restaurants,” said Starr Hill’s Brewmaster, Robbie O’Cain. “It’s bacon and beer – what more do you need?”

to benefit Local Food Hub

Following their tastings, patrons will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite restaurant. One ballot is included with GA tickets and additional are available for $1. All proceeds will go to the Local Food Hub.

Local Food Hub is a nonprofit that partners with Virginia farmers to increase community access to local food. It provides the support services, infrastructure, and market opportunities that connect people with food grown close to home.
